In the second phase, the comprehensive orthodontic treatment with the upper right first premolar extraction using preadjusted edgewise appliances was performed. As a result, an appropriate overbite and overjet were obtained and tight posterior interdigitation was established. The resulting occlusion was maintained during a 3-years-0-months retention
