Therefore, it was considered important to know what people who would become dental care workers had the recognition of HIV-infected persons and AIDS patients. Moreover we should discuss how to educate, if their recognition was reduced. In this study, we compared the attitude, behavior, and knowledge regarding AIDS, in 2013 group (75) and in 2017 group (78), for students of dental hygienists, by means of a self-administered survey questionnaire. As a result, compared with the 2013 group in the 2017 group, the following was found out. \n1. Although the knowledge on AIDS increased with regard to the cause of infection and the influence on HIV infection, many students did not answer correctly the pathway of HIV infection.\n2. The attitude, behavior regarding AIDS, both on general life and on dental practice, there were fewer people with rejective or negative thoughts about AIDS.
