| 値 | The little is known about the influence of Posterior tongue-tie on the facial morphology. The objectives of this study is to investigate the prevalence of posterior tongue-tie in orthodontic patients using numerical and clinical assessment methods in order to examine the association between posterior tongue tie and transverse maxillary deficiency. The clinical assessments of posterior tongue-tie were in agreement with the numerical measurements using TRMR grade 95% of the time. Considering the high prevalence of posterior tongue-tie in the MSE group, there was a strong association between posterior tongue-tie and transverse maxillary deficiency. |
