The percentage of patients requiring improvement of maxillary protrusion, the protrusion of the lip area in particular,is high due to the facial morphology of the Japanese, and patients want know the degree of change in the facial features that will be obtained by treatment. In the study, with regard to 4 patients with maxillary protrusion, who consulted our department with a chief complaint of the protrusion of the lip area, and obtained a good facial profile by treatment, changes in the hard and soft tissue were compared between before and after treatment, and interesting findings were
