In 1993, I had the opportunity to stay at the University of Sheffield as an overseas researcher of the Ministry of Education (at that time). We were able to interact with Japanese researchers who were in Europe and the United States at the same time and whose main research area was computer engineering. Then, we had a plan to create network server programming and tried to execute it.
