| 内容記述 | Since COVID-19 was reclassified as a Class 5 infectious disease under the Infectious Diseases Control Law, all travel restrictions have been lifted. Consequently, the number of people traveling to Japan, as well as Japanese people traveling overseas, has nearly returned to pre-pandemic levels. Recently, many universities in Japan have resumed study-abroad programs, which provide students with opportunities to study overseas. One of the primary goals of these programs is to help students acquire foreign language skills, with English being the most common target for Japanese university students. Asahi University, located in Gifu, Japan, resumed its three-week study-abroad program in 2022. This paper examines the impact of the program conducted in 2024 on participants’ English proficiency and their attitudes toward learning English. | |||||||||
