It is caused by an allergic reaction to metals, drugs, or HCV infections. We will present a case of a patient suspected of\noral lichen planus caused by a reaction to denture acrylic resin.\nA 71-year-old female patient complained of sharp pain in the bilateral buccal mucosa. The patient had experienced discomfort in the buccal mucosa after having her dentures repaired one month prior and the pain had gradually become worse. During the initial diagnosis, bilateral white striations and erythema were found on the buccal mucosa. The lichenoid reaction was considered to be due to the resin monomer used in the repair of the dentures. The Erythema and sharp pain were treated using topical corticosteroids and the removal of the repaired dentures. Follow up was performed six months later using new acrylic resin dentures. However, the white striations and discomfort still remained.
