 note = {研修歯科医の臨床研修終了後のキャリアパスについて朝日大学歯学部附属病院で臨床研修を行った研修歯科医80名を対象に調査を行った。調査内容は以下の通りである。歯科医師として一人前になるまでに必要な年数、研修終了後の進路、開業希望の有無、専門知識を得たい診療科名、上記専門知識の習得方法、認定医あるいは専門医取得希望の有無、今後、注目を浴びると思う診療科名、である。また、開業を希望した場合には開業予定年数、開業した場合の希望年収、可動年数を聞いた。歯科医師として一人前になるまでには5年以上かかると答えた者が半数以上を占めていた。研修終了後の進路では開業医勤務を答えた者が半数を占めていた。開業は約70%が希望しており、また開業には卒後10年以上を要すると考えているようであった。開業した場合の年収では2,000万円以上を希望する者が多かった。診療できる年齢に関しては、65歳以下と答えた者が多く、次いで70歳以下であった。専門知識を得たい診療科ではインプラントが最も多く、次いで補綴歯科、歯周病、ホワイトニング、審美歯科の順であった。また、知識は講習会で習得すると答えた者が約半数であった。留学を希望する者は2名であった。認定医あるいは専門医の取得を希望する者は約60％であった。希望する診療科ではインプラントを希望する者が最も多く、次いで審美歯科、歯周病、補綴歯科の順であった。将来的に発展性のある診療科としては、インプラント、審美歯科、無痛治療、ホワイトニング・レーザー治療をあげていた。今回の調査から、研修歯科医のキャリアパスとしては、開業医勤務後の開業が多く、認定医や専門医取得を希望している者も多いことなどがわかった。
A survey was conducted on career paths for 80 dental residents who had completed clinical training at Asahi University Hospital. The surveyed items include followings: the number of years required until they become independent as dentists, the career paths after clinical training, expectations to open a private dental clinic, specialty fields that they would like to study, methods of acquiring knowledge in these fields, expectations to become a certified or specialist dentist, and specialty fields which they think would attract attentions in the future. Moreover, for those who had been expecting to open a private clinic, we asked the number of years that they would need to do so, how much income they would expect annually, and how many years they would like to work. More than a half of the subjects answered that it would take more than 5 years to become independent as a dentist. Also, a half of them answered that they would like to work at a private dental clinic after training. About 70% of the subjects had been expecting to open a clinic in the future, and they appeared to believe that it would take more than 10 years after graduation to open the clinic. For the annual income, majority of them had been expecting to receive more than 20 million yen. For the age that they can practice, the most common answer was less than 65 years old, followed by less than 70. The specialty fields that they would like to study the most was dental implant, followed by prosthesis, periodontal diseases, whitening, and cosmetic dentistry. More than a half of the subjects answered that they would acquire knowledge through a course of lectures. Two subjects had been considering studying abroad. About 60% had expectations to become a certified or specialist dentist. The specialty fields that they would like to practice the most were dental implant, followed by cosmetic dentistry, periodontal diseases, and dental prosthesis. The specialty fields that they believed to be further developed in the future included dental implant, cosmetic dentistry, pain-free treatment, and whitening/laser treatment. It was revealed in this survey that, for the career path, majority of dental residents had been expecting to open their own clinic after working at a private dental clinic and to become a certified or specialty dentist in the future.},
