{"created":"2023-06-23T12:15:35.738410+00:00","id":5392,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"acbdd15a-be9c-4a8e-add0-432fe281a8c8"},"_deposit":{"created_by":21,"id":"5392","owners":[21],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"5392"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:asahi-u.repo.nii.ac.jp:00005392","sets":["46:348:365"]},"author_link":["3931","4171","1779","3934","4172","8747"],"item_10002_biblio_info_77":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"2017-06","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicIssueNumber":"1","bibliographicPageEnd":"63","bibliographicPageStart":"57","bibliographicVolumeNumber":"44","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"岐阜歯科学会雑誌"},{"bibliographic_title":"The Journal of Gifu Dental Society","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_description_80":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"冬季にはインフルエンザやノロウイルスによる感染性胃腸炎など種々の感染症が流行するが、咽頭扁桃炎を主症状とするA群β溶血性レンサ球菌感染症もこの時期から流行し始める。学校施設として集団感染の発生に対し予防策を講じる上で、本学で冬季に流行しうる感染症の情報収集を行う必要があると思われる。本研究では、本学学生を対象として咽頭拭い液からイムノクロマト法によるA群β溶血性レンサ球菌の検出を行い、本菌による感染症発生に関する調査を実施した。139人を被験者としたが、中には感冒様の自覚症状を有する者が30人、咽頭痛を有する者が16人含まれていた。結果として、被験者139人中4人(2.9%)からA群β溶血性レンサ球菌が検出された。また感冒様の自覚症状をもつ被験者では30人中3人(10.0%)、咽頭痛を有する被験者では16人中3人(18.8%)であった。検査結果の調査時には、イムノクロマト法に関するアンケートも行ったが、被験者の大多数が本法の簡便性と迅速性を認識していたことから、簡便・迅速検査法としてのイムノクロマト法の認知・学習効果があったと推測された。本法の性格上、偽陽性や保菌者の可能性を完全には除外できないが、特異性や精度は十分高いため、対象者を集団から隔離して医療機関を受診させる等の措置を取るためには有用だと考えられる。A群β溶血性レンサ球菌感染症では再発や続発症が発生することもあるため注意が必要であり、冬季に流行する感染症の病原体として調査意義があると思われる。今後も学校施設としての集団感染対策樹立のため引き続き調査を行っていくべきである。\nEvery winter, various infectious diseases, such as infl uenza and noroviral gastroenteritis, become prevalent. An infectious disease caused by group A β-hemolytic Streptococcus also becomes prevalent in this season, the major symptom of which is adenoiditis. In order to take necessary precautions against such outbreaks in school facilities, it is important to accumulate data associated with infectious diseases that could be prevalent in the university every winter. In this study, we investigated group A β-hemolytic streptococcal infections among the students of the Asahi University by introducing an immunochromatography test that detects the antigen from nasal specimens. Of the 139 students, 30 students showed common cold-like symptoms, and 16 students showed a sore throat. Consequently, group A β-hemolytic Streptococcus was detected in 4 out of 139 students (2.9%). This pathogen was also detected in 3 out of the 30 students with common cold-like symptoms (10.0%), and in 3 out of the 16 students with sore throat (18.8%). Concurrently with the accumulation of test data, we conducted a survey among the students regarding the educational effects of the test. Because most students responded that they found the test quick and easy to administer, it can be supposed that this trial created cognitive and learning effects through an awareness of the ease and speed of immunochromatographic tests. Because of the property of the test, we cannot completely exclude the possibility of false positive results or the detection of carriers of group A β-hemolytic Streptococcus. Nevertheless, these results would prove useful to help prevent contact between identified latently-infected students and healthy students, and to allow the infected students to visit a hospital. Examination of group A β-hemolytic Streptococcus is essential because it causes recurrent infections and sequelae. Therefore, monitoring it as an important pathogen would be eff ective, owing to its possible prevalence in the university every winter.
