 note = {切端咬合と上顎歯列の重度叢生を認めた骨格性Ⅲ級と診断された14歳7か月の女子に対して、上下顎両側第一小臼歯を抜去し、上下顎にプリアジャストエッジワイズ装置を用いて矯正歯科治療を行った。その結果、良好なオーバージェット、オーバーバイト、Ⅰ級の犬歯・大臼歯関係および緊密な咬頭嵌合が得られた。保定後2年2か月を経過した現在、安定した咬合関係を保っており、患者の十分な満足が得られた。
The present report describes the orthodontic treatment in a 14 years 7 months old girl with maxillary severe crowding and edge-to-edge. Comprehensive orthodontic treatment involved extraction of the upper and lower first premolars. A preadjusted edgewise appliances were used in both the upper and lower arches. As a result, a ClassⅠmolar relational with ideal overjet and overbite , tight interdigitation, and satisfactory facial profile were achieved during treatment. After a retention period of 2 years 2 months, the occlusion remained stable and the patient was fully satisfied with the treatment.},
