 note = {本症例は、初診時年齢が20歳7か月の男性で、下顎両側中切歯の先天欠如による下顎両側乳中切歯の晩期残存、下顎両側側切歯の遠心捻転、上顎右側犬歯の低位唇側転位、上顎右側側切歯・上顎左側中切歯の近心捻転および過蓋咬合を認めた。上顎両側第一小臼歯と下顎両側乳中切歯の抜去を行い、上下顎歯列にプリアジャストエッジワイズ装置を装着し、矯正歯科治療を行った。その結果、1歯対2歯のⅠ級大臼歯関係を確立し、良好なオーバージェット、オーバーバイトおよび緊密な咬頭嵌合が得られた。保定開始から1年6か月を経過した後も、安定した咬合関係を保っており、患者の充分な満足が得られた。
The present report describes orthodontic treatment in a 20-year-7-month-old male with congenitally missing mandibular central incisors on both sides, deep overbite, and maxillary crowding. Orthodontic treatment with the extraction of the maxillary first premolars and mandibular primary central incisors was performed using a preadjusted edgewise appliance. An ideal overbite and overjet were obtained. Proper occlusal interdigitation was achieved. After a retention period of 1 years and 6 months, the occlusion remained stable with a normal overjet and overbite.},
