 note = {本報告は、下顎右側第二小臼歯の先天欠如、上顎中切歯の唇側傾斜による過大なオーバージェット、過蓋咬合および上下顎歯列の叢生を認めた11歳2か月の女児の治験例である。上顎は両側第一小臼歯、下顎は左側第一小臼歯と右側第二乳臼歯を抜去し、上下顎歯列にプリアジャストエッジワイズ装置を装着し、矯正歯科治療を行った。その結果、1歯対2歯のⅠ級大臼歯関係を確立し、良好なオーバージェット、オーバーバイトおよび緊密な咬頭嵌合が得られた。保定開始から1年7か月を経過した後も、安定した咬合関係を保っており、患者の充分な満足が得られた。
The present report describes orthodontic treatment in an 11-year-2-month-old girl with congenitally missing mandibular right second premolar, excessive overjet and deep overbite. Orthodontic treatment with the extraction of the maxillary first premolars, mandibular left first premolar, and right second primary molar was performed using a preadjusted edgewise appliance. An ideal overjet and overbite were obtained. Proper occlusal interdigitation was achieved. After a retention period of 1 year and 7 months, the occlusion remained stable with a normal overjet and overbite.},
