| 内容記述 | 矯正治療において、歯の位置異常あるいは埋伏歯を主訴とする患者において歯周組織が歯肉炎または歯周炎に罹患しているケースと遭遇する機会は少なくない。若年性歯周炎は、一般的な成人型歯周炎の症状とは異なり、局所的な歯槽骨の吸収が急激である。その歯周炎が現時点でどの様な歯周炎であるかを明確に判別することは困難な場合が多い。患者が矯正治療中に若年性歯周炎を発症した場合、歯槽骨の吸収が急激であるので、患者の治療計画を再考しなければならない。今回我々は、初診時に若年性歯周炎の兆候はなく、移転歯、埋伏歯を認めた症例において、矯正治療中に若年性歯周炎を発症し、長期にわたる歯周治療と観察を行い、非抜歯にて治療することにした結果、健全な歯周組織、安定した咬合関係が得られ、維持されている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Under orthodontic treatment, the patient with transposition teeth or impacted teeth sometimes develop gingivitis or periodontitis. Juveniles periodontitis (JP) differs from the conditions and symptoms of adult periodontitis, and the progression of localized alveolar bone loss is rapid. However, it is difficult to detect JP at the first consultation and requires observation of the periodontal tissue condition. If the patient develops JP during orthodontic treatment, we must reconsider the treatment plan depending on the condition of the patient, because alveolar bone loss is immediate. In this case involving transposition of teeth and impacted teeth, the sympthoms of juvenile periodontitis were not recognized at the beginning of orthodontic treatment. During orthodontic treatment, however we observed JP and began professional the treatment plan and long-term supportive periodontal therapy. We reconsidered due to periodontal desease and dicided to select non-extraction for alveolar bone Thereafter stabilization of periodontal tissues and stable occlution were achieved and maintained. | |||||
