内容記述 | Advanced Japanese plays a very important role in the curriculum of Japanese language majors at colleges and universities. As an extension of the main course “Basic Japanese” in the lower grades, “Advanced Japanese” not only consolidates the language knowledge acquired by the learners and improves their understanding and use of Japanese, but also cultivates and exercises their critical thinking, and analytical, problem-solving skills. At the same time, learners will be able to develop and practice their critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills. Due to the importance of the Advanced Japanese course, teachers in many domestic universities have explored the teaching of this course and put forward their own distinctive teaching plans. However, the reform of the teaching of advanced Japanese is based on the objectivist theory of learning. In this paper, we believe that the constructivist learning theory is the most suitable for teaching Advanced Japanese from the point of view of its cultivation goals and target students. Taking constructivist learning theory as a guide, the author reformed the teaching mode of the Advanced Japanese course, Classical Studies. Under the premise of understanding and respecting students’ existing knowledge systems, the teaching practice of “Classical Studies” provides a fulcrum for students to generate a new knowledge system that is fully appreciated by the learners. | |||||
