| 内容記述 | 本症例は、初診時年齢が38歳2か月の女性で、歯磨きがしにくいことを主訴に歯周病科より紹介された。上顎歯列の重度叢生と浅い垂直的被蓋を示し、上下顎全体に水平性の骨吸収を認めた。下顎両側第一小臼歯、上顎右側側切歯および左側第二小臼歯を抜去して、上下顎歯にプリアジャストエッジワイズ装置を装着し、矯正歯科治療を行った。その結果、1歯対2歯のⅠ級大臼歯関係を確立し、良好なオーバージェット、オーバーバイト、緊密な咬頭嵌合および良好な側貌が得られた。保定開始から2年7か月を経過した後も、安定した咬合関係を保っており、患者の充分な満足が得られた。 The present report describes the orthodontic treatment in a 38-year-2-month-old female who was introduced from the periodontic department because it is hard to brush teeth. Severe crowding in the upper dentition, shallow overbite, and total horizontal resorption of the alveolar bone were recognized. Orthodontic treatment was implemented with a pre-adjusted edgewise appliance. The orthodontic treatment involved the extraction of the upper right lateral incisor, left second premolar and lower bilateral first premolars. A Class I molar relationship, Class Ⅰ canine relationship, acceptable overjet and overbite, tight occlusal interdigitation, and acceptable profile were established. After a retention period of 2 years and 7 months, the occlusion remained stable and the patient was fully satisfi ed with the treatment. |
