| 内容記述 | 上顎右側中切歯の骨性癒着、口唇部の突出および上下顎歯列の軽度叢生を伴う骨格性Ⅰ級症例と診断された11歳5か月の女児に対して、上顎右側中切歯の骨性癒着を確定診断した後、上顎右側中切歯と上下顎両側第一小臼歯を抜去し、上下顎にプリアジャストエッジワイズ装置を用いて矯正歯科治療を行った。矯正歯科治療後、上顎右側中切歯抜去部位にインプラントを埋入した。その結果、良好なオーバージェット、オーバーバイト、Ⅰ級の犬歯・大臼歯関係および緊密な咬頭嵌合が得られた。保定後3年10か月を経過した現在、安定した歯列および咬合関係を保っており、患者の充分な満足が得られた。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The present report describes the orthodontic treatment in an 11 year-5 month-old girl with the maxillary right central incisor ankylosis, lip protrusion and upper and mild crowding of lower dental arch. After the maxillary right central incisor was definitely diagnosed with ankylosis, comprehensive orthodontic treatment involved extraction of the maxillary right central incisor and the upper and lower bilateral first premolars. A preadjusted edgewise appliance was used in both the upper and lower arches. A dental implant was placed at the extraction site of the maxillary central right incisor after orthodontic treatment. As a result, a Class I molar relational with ideal overjet and overbite, tight interdigitation, and satisfactory facial profile were achieved. After a retention period of 3 years 10 months, the dental arch and occlusion remained stable and the patient was fully satisfied with the treatment result. | |||||||||||||||||
