内容記述 目的：厚生労働省が報告した平成30 年度エイズ発生動向によると、新規HIV感染者は20～30歳代に集中しており、全体の65％を占める。性行動体験率の急激な変化の時期である高校生に対して、HIV感染症や他の性感染症について正しい知識を伝えることは、エイズ予防の啓発活動として重要な責務である。今回、高校生を対象にエイズ予防を中心とした講演を行い、講演後に実施した調査の集計結果から講演がエイズ予防の啓発につながる影響を検証した。
方法：2017年から2019年までの3年間に名古屋市にある高等学校1年次生を対象として、HIV感染症を中心にその他の性感染症に関する内容の講演を30分間行った。講演後、講演時間の長さ、難解さ、内容の有用性、興味に関し選択形式で、また役に立つと感じた内容、探求したい事、感想を記述方式での無記名の自記式アンケート形式で実施した。
結果：3年間で男1125名、女239名の1364名から回答を得た。講演時間は82％が「適切」と回答し、内容を「（やや）理解できた」が93％、「（やや）役に立つ」が94％を占めた。講演が「（やや）面白い」が53％、「面白くない」が48％であった。講義内容について役に立つ内容は、主に予防と感染経路についてであり、探求したい事はHIV感染症を含めた各性感染症の詳細であった。感想としては、将来役に立つ正しい知識を獲得できた事など講演に好意的な意見と、性感染症の病巣画像への嫌悪感などの講演に否定的な意見があげられた。
結語：本調査結果において、選択形式の設問では3年間を通じておおむね同じ割合で肯定的に受け入れられていたことが明らかとなった。エイズ予防に有益な活動として、改善を加えながら継続していく予定である。

内容記述 Objectives: According to the 2018 HIV/AIDS surveillance reported by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the number of newly HIV-infected individuals in their 20s and 30s is high in age distribution of HIV/AIDS patients, which accounts for 65% of the prevalence. The number of adolescents who have sexual intercourse rapidly increases while they are in high school ; therefore, providing them with correct knowledge about HIV infection and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) is vital for AIDS awareness and prevention campaign. Using a questionnaire, we investigated the effectiveness of the program of AIDS awareness and prevention for high school students.
Methods: Between 2017 and 2019, we have delivered a 30-minute lecture on HIV infection and other STDs to first-year high school students in Nagoya. After the lecture, we made a survey about the presentation, including the length of time and levels of their understanding, interest, and benefit from the lecture by using multiple-choice questions as well as practical points they learned, further information they wanted to know, and impressions about the lecture by using open-end questions.
Results: We received responses from 1364 students (1125 men and 239 women) for the three years. Most students (82%) answered that the lecture length was appropriate, 93% of them basically understood the content, and 94% regarded it as useful. About half of students (53%) thought that the program was interesting, and the other half (48%) did not so. Many students found that learning prevention and transmission routes of STDs was informative and wanted to know more about the diseases, including HIV infection. Students had positive opinions ; for example, obtaining correct knowledge about STDs was helpful for the future, while some students had negative opinions ; for example, they felt uncomfortable for graphic images of STD symptoms.
Conclusion: These survey results revealed that the lecture positively impacted on some students every year in the program, indicating this activity is beneficial to HIV/AIDS prevention. Therefore, we will continue to deliver the lecture in high school students, improving its content.
