| 内容記述 | インフルエンザは冬季、特に1月頃をピークとして毎年流行する感染症であり、大学を含む学校施設では集団感染発生に対して警戒が必要である。本研究では集団感染予防策の一環としてイムノクロマト法に基づいた迅速検査を導入し、医療機関に依存せずに潜在的感染者を早期に特定する試みについて検討することを目的とした。検査は感冒様の自覚症状のある者を含む本学学生139名を対象とし、インフルエンザウイルスA型ならびにB型を同時に検出可能なキットにより実施した。結果調査時に、迅速検査法、あるいは簡便検査法としてのイムノクロマト法に関する学生への認知効果と学習効果を含む教育的効果についても調査した。その結果、感冒様の自覚症状をもつ対象者1名からインフルエンザウイルスA型が検出されたことから、本法は感染者特定おいて十分な有用性をもつと判断された。対象者に関する基本情報として公共交通機関の利用の有無についても調査したが、感冒様の自覚症状の有無、あるいはインフルエンザウイルス検出結果とは関係していなかった。また対象者の多くが本法の簡便性と迅速性について認識していたことから、簡便・迅速検査法としてのイムノクロマト法の認知・学習効果があったと推測された。本結果を踏まえ、迅速検査によって早期に感染者を特定した後、集団との接触を適切に防ぐことができれば、有効な集団感染予防策の一つになると考えられる。今後本学で行うことのできる対策について十分に議論を行い、準備を整えていく上で、本法を含めた方法を考慮していく重要性があると考えている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Influenza is a infectious disease that becomes prevalent every year, usually peaking in January each winter. School facilities, including universities, need to be vigilant about the potential for outbreaks to occur at their institution. In this study, as a part of precautions against outbreaks of influenza, we investigated an attempt to rapidly identify latently infected students by introducing a quick test that detects influenza viruses based on the principle of immunochromatography and which could be conducted without the assistance of medical institutions. The subjects of the study were 139 students of this university, including some who showed common cold-like symptoms. The test was performed with a kit that can simultaneously detect type A and type B influenza viruses. Concurrently with the gathering of test data, we also surveyed the subjects on the educational effects, including cognitive and learning effects, about ease of handling and swiftness of the test. As a result, type A influenza virus was detected in a subject with common cold-like symptoms, suggesting that this test is useful for identifying latently infected students. We surveyed subjects on basic personal information, such as whether or not they used public transport, and found no association between public transport use and the presence of cold-like symptoms or the results of influenza virus detection. Because most subjects responded that they found the test was quick and easy to administer, it can be supposed that this trial created some awareness of the ease and speed of immunochromatographic tests. On the basis of our results, given that contact between infected students and groups of healthy students can be prevented by identifying infected students early by conducting this quick test, introducing this method may be an effective precaution against outbreaks. We should continue to discuss precautions that can be taken in this university to make the necessary preparations. It will be needed to devise a plan in which the methods outlined in this study is incorporated. | |||||
