The patient was a 55-year old female. For her bilateral mandibular free-end missing, 4 implants were placed in bilateral mandibular premolar regions with a magnet-retained implant supported overdenture. Thereafter, a decrease in bone mineral density was observed; hence, the patient received bisphosphonate administration. The patient then developed implant mobility due to absorption of bones around the implants after bisphosphonate administration. The implant bodies were therefore removed one after another. After removal of implants on one side, a removable denture with an acetal clasp-retained device was placed for aesthetic purposes. Once all the implants were removed, the patient received a non-metal clasp denture and achieved functional and aesthetic restoration.
